The inconvenient truth
Most toothpastes sold today are still tested on animals, use single-use plastics, use unnecessary water and contain microplastics.
Tons of plastic end up in the oceans every year. A considerable part comes from dental care products. More specifically, it is dumped 1.5 billion tubes of toothpaste and over 3 billion toothbrushes in our oceans or in landfills. That plastic takes our planet 500-700 years to break down.
By 2050, according to the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, we will have more plastic than fish in the oceans.
New routines are needed
It is high time to act. For a long time, dental care has meant environmentally harmful routines and outdated products, but we are here to change that. Our tablets are manufactured sustainably in the EU and are a completely plastic-free alternative. We pack our products in degradable materials only.
Today, dental problems are one of our most common public diseases. To protect our teeth, fluoride is by far the most important ingredient. Many toothpastes on the market today lack fluoride. Our toothpaste is developed by dentists and of course contains the recommended fluoride content, 1450 ppm.
